Travelers are reminded to pack an extra suitcase with donations when traveling
Jim Berns, President of Travel Donations, is reminding all persons traveling out of country to pack an extra suitcase with items to be donated in their destination country. "Children's clothing, school supplies, sheets, towels, socks, underwear, adult clothing, over the counter medications, all can be used by charities, hospitals, clinics and needy individuals in the country you are traveling to.

Aldea Mis Amigos
Children at Mis Amigos can use all the things a kid growing up needs - shoes, school supplies, toys, socks, underwear, bed linens for twin sized bunk beds and even plastic sheets.

For many years people adopting children from other countries have had the wonderful tradition of stuffing their suitcases full of clothing and gifts for the children they could not take home with them.

The purpose of TravelDonations.org is to connect ordinary travelers with charities in their destination countries. All a traveler needs to do is pick the country and city they are traveling to, and select the charity they want to help.

Each charity will have a list of items they need, from children’s clothes to computers.

When the traveler arrives at their destination, they have the choice of delivering their donation in person, or having them picked up from the airport.
